About The SeniorStrong Program
SeniorStrong is a program designed and delivered by a Physiotherapist that is experienced in supporting seniors to build strength, balance, mobility and to decrease their risk of falling.
The 8-week program includes weekly exercise classes which involve balance, strength and cardiovascular exercises.
It is suitable for any senior who is able to stand and walk by themselves.
Options are provided during each class to make exercises easier or harder as well.
The program also includes a weekly education video on topics such as:
- Bone Health and Osteoporosis
- Nutrition for Seniors
- Osteoarthritis
- Lonliness
- and much more

Scott is the founder at Community Therapy and a Physiotherapist with nearly 15 years of experience supporting seniors.
He has special interests across falls prevention, frailty management and chronic pain management.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending all of his time with his family of three children with his wife!

Who is this online falls prevention program for?
SeniorStrong is suitable for any senior looking to increase their strength, balance and mobility or looking to decrease their risk of falling.

What equipment do I need for the program?
Just a chair and your body!
You can follow the program on any device that has access to the internet such as your mobile phone, tablet, computer or TV.

How much time do I need to dedicate to the program each week?
Each exercise class is between 20 – 30 minutes and each education video is around 10 minutes each week.
We recommend that that complete each week’s exercise class twice for the best benefits!

How do I access the online program after I sign up?
Once you sign up, you can start the course from your account page!

What medical conditions may not be suitable for this program?
If you live with the following medical condition, you should discuss with your Doctor first before engaging in this program:
- uncontrolled blood pressure
- uncontrolled blood glucose levels
- heart or lung conditions where you have been advised to undertake supervised exercise only
