Mobile Allied Health Provider in Erina
Community Therapy was founded in Hunter New England and has offered services to Central Coast residents since our inception.
We are a prominent provider and you may have seen us driving throughout the coast in our blue cars!
Today, we are proud to employ a large number of caring clinicians who deliver expert Allied health services. While we are a large provider, we stay connected to our communities on a one-to-one basis!
Take, for example, our exercise classes for seniors, some of which operate in Erina!
If you are looking for a long-term, caring provider on the Central Coast, then consider contacting Community Therapy.
We Make Mobile Physiotherapy Fun!
“You don’t stop exercising because you grow old, you grow old because you stop exercising.” – Unknown
At Community Therapy, we love this idea—exercise should be enjoyable too!
Our programs are grounded in evidence and use creative activities to keep them both fun and effective. These supervised sessions not only boost physical strength and mobility, but also support mental engagement, emotional well-being, and social connection.
Research supports that group programs for older adults should include:
- 150 minutes of physical activity per week
- Strength-building exercises at least twice a week
- Balance-challenging exercises at least twice a week
This is another reason why we actively listen to our patient’s goals. When we love what we are doing, motivation is easy!
Do you want to experience our Allied Health services? We’d love to hear from you.
Expert Occupational Therapy Services
Our OTs help people of all ages achieve independence in their daily activities.
We focus on improving physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional skills that enable individuals to participate in everyday tasks, whether at home or in the Erina community.
This, however, may involve very specific tasks such as
- The prescription of equipment such as pressure cushions
- Delivering home modifications such as ramps, bathrooms or railings
- The delivery of manual handling training
- High-cost assistive technology such as powered wheelchairs
Our OTs visit people’s homes to provide comprehensive assessments, and then implement supports as required.
We aim to make the process as easy as possible for everyone involved, as we understand that our suggestions can often involve different levels of change.
